Lavender essential oil is extracted via steam distillation from the flowers of the plant. Lavender oil has a balancing and normalizing effect, bringing health and harmony to body and mind. It eases colds, flu, sinusitis, and throat infections. It promotes cell growth and helps to minimize scarring. Lavender can also be used to reduce blood pressure, palpitations, alleviates fluid retention.
